Matthew grew up with Touch for Health (TFH) and Effective Communication skills as part of his everyday family system. Matthew is dedicated to sharing tools to support the learning process that anyone can be trained to use for their ongoing, day-to-day optimization of life experience. His emphasis is on immediately putting simple, effective, enjoyable techniques into personal practice, and making the concepts and techniques accessible and personally meaningful for the general public.
From 1996-2005 Matthew worked extensively with his father, TFH Founder , John F. Thie, DC. Co-authoring articles and books, organizing seminars, and speaking at national and international Energy & Kinesiology conferences. Matthew Co-authored the TFH Pocketbook with Chinese 5 Element Metaphors (2002) and Touch for Health: The Complete Edition (2005), and continues to teach the Clinical Intensive TFH Workshops that John developed at Serra Retreat in Malibu, California, in addition to teaching the TFH synthesis, Proficiency & Instructor Training.
